The Maverick Faction is an alliance of independent peacekeepers who operate on the fringes of faction territories and in conflict zones. They exist to protect the weak from exploitation and maintain balance in unstable regions of space.

How Do I Unlock the Maverick Faction?

The Maverick Faction is unlocked through a new building, the Warp Dive Bar. Players can unlock the Warp Dive Bar through finishing the Warp Dive Mission which is given in the Gift Section for players Ops Level 55+.

The Warp Dive Bar

  • Unlocks at Ops Level 55

  • Serves as the entry point to Maverick gameplay

  • Unlocks:

    • Maverick Faction access

    • Maverick Research Tree

    • Maverick Faction Store bundles

    • Maverick Faction Tasks

Note: The Warp Dive Bar includes buttons for the Maverick Store and Maverick Research, but not for Tasks.

What Does the Warp Dive Bar Do?

The Warp Dive Bar unlocks the Maverick Faction and enables the players to engage with new Solo Armadas. It gives access to reputation progression, Tasks, and store bundles.

Upgrading the building provides:

  • FKR Isolytic Damage vs. Conqueror Solo Armadas

  • Parsteel & Sigma Parsteel Cost Efficiency for Buildings

  • Weekly Task Keys for Solo Faction Tasks

  • Bundles in the Faction Store Output improve

  • V’ger Particle Bundle unlock

What Are Maverick Faction Tasks?

The Maverick Faction introduces a new Weekly Task System. Tasks are the main source of Faction Reputation and Credits.

Key Features:

  • All tasks reset weekly at the same time

  • Tasks can be:

    • Solo

    • Alliance-wide

  • Tasks are segmented by Ops Level.

Task difficulty and rewards scale based on Ops Level.

All Faction reputation progression is individual, but Alliance Task progress is shared with the alliance.

To unlock Solo tasks you need Maverick Task Keys which are found in the faction store, with the amount based on the level of the Warp Dive building.

How Does the Faction Work?

Completing Tasks is crucial for the advancement of the Faction. 

Maverick Faction Reputation Tiers:

  • Aide: 0 to 49,999 Reputation Points

  • Freelancer: 50,000 to 249,999 Points

  • Partner: 250,000 to 599,999 Points

  • Fellow: 600,000 to 1,199,999 Points

  • Maverick: 1,200,000 Points

The Faction has 2 Tabs - Store and Tasks. Tasks are the main source of Faction Reputation and Credits.

Solo Armada Tasks

  • Focused on Conqueror Borg Solo Armadas

Resource Redistribution

  • Spend Ore, Crystal, or Gas on upgrades

FKR Progression

  • Defeat FKR hostiles

Including:

  • V’ger

  • Aggregation

  • Transogen
