A strong gaming community is open and inclusive to players of all backgrounds, identities, and skill levels. Everyone should feel welcome.
Play openly by:
Being welcoming and friendly to all players.
Including new players, no matter their background (race, gender, religion, sexuality, nationality, ability, etc.).
Helping new players learn and grow.
Understanding that everyone brings different experiences to the game.
Examples of not playing openly (not allowed):
Attacking or mocking players who are still learning.
Bullying or belittling new players.
Discouraging others from playing or making them feel unwelcome.
Help build a community where everyone feels they belong.
