Before you craft a weapon you might want to know exactly which one you are selecting and if it is for the character that you want to equip it.

You can check it out by going to the Armory or Inventory, selecting "Weapons" and then tapping the golden gun icon. It will then show that this particular special weapon is defaulted to a particular character (and even the Team they are assigned to).
