You can find Joi's Journey on the main screen whenever it is available. Look on the left side of the screen above the leaderboard. This is where you'll see the current episode of Joi's Journey.

What is an episode of Joi’s Journey?

Unfortunately, Poi has a tendency to be dognapped, and each time this occurs, a new episode of Joi's Journey will be released. An example of this is the "Cold as Ice" episode, pictured here.

How do I help Joi in Joi’s Journey?

For instance, in the "Cold as Ice" episode, Joi ventures onto ice blocks to get closer to Poi. Playing through these levels will aid her in progressing toward saving Poi. However, before you can accomplish that, you'll need to overcome several mini bosses and ultimately confront Captain Karma himself in a final showdown

What are lives and how do they work? 

You have 5 lives per episode. You'll lose a life if you run out of time on a Mini Boss or Boss Level. Be careful not to lose them, but if you do, they will refill over time. You can also use Coins to refill them immediately.

What is the significance of the letters in the game?

Poi communicates with Joi through letters, but Captain Karma catches on and starts sending not-so-nice letters to Joi as well.

What is a Mini-Boss Level in the game?

Mini-Boss Levels are encountered occasionally. If you fail to complete the level before the timer runs out, Captain Karma's Flying Pig will cut you off, resulting in the loss of a life. Boss Levels can be identified by the presence of the Flying Pig icon. Successfully conquering a Mini-Boss Level grants you a handsome reward and brings you one step closer to rescuing Poi.

How can I identify the Boss Level?

The pregame screen will display Captain Karma, indicating that you're about to face the Boss Level.

How do I face the final Boss Level in the game?

In the final level, you will confront Captain Karma himself. Your objective is to finish the level before the timer expires, thus rescuing Poi, ensuring Joi's happiness, and earning your well-deserved reward. Failing to do so will result in the loss of a life.
