As you complete your designs, you earn Experience, determined by the total value of all of the items you placed in your design.

 

The circle in the upper left corner of the screen shows your current level. Tap this circle to view upcoming levels and the Experience value needed to achieve each. You can also view the prizes you will earn for achieving each level.
