Your Elo Score is a measure of your performance over time in the games you’ve played. Winning games improves your Elo Score, while losing games lowers your score.

The change to your Elo Score after each game is directly related to the Elo Score of your opponent. Beating a player with a much higher Elo Score than your own will result in a larger gain than beating a player with a much lower score.

By the same token, losing to a player with a much higher Elo Score than your own will result in a much smaller loss than losing to a player with a much lower score.

Elo Scores are tracked for all of the dictionaries you use. If you use both the US English and UK English dictionaries, for example, you will have different Elo Scores for each dictionary.
