We have recently released some new data into the game that may be taking some time for players to download. This download happens behind the scenes and can be done while players are interacting with the game.
While it is downloading however, you may be unable to see new events.
We've identified some troubleshooting steps that have been successful for other players to remedy the issue. Please give these a shot:
1) Open the app and leave it running in the foreground. Leaving it running until the data has had the chance to fully upload. This should take 15-30 minutes - though keep in mind that this depends on you network connection.

2) If that doesn't work, switch to WiFi only and try the above step once again.
