Campaign missions are a great way to increase your player level, earn rewards (particularly gear pieces, Gold, Power Cores, Ability Materials, and character shards), and complete tasks in your Daily Objectives and Achievements.

The farther along you progress, the more Campaign modes you will unlock. And the story is definitely the cherry on top.
