Spread throughout the board are unique squares that alter the score of the tiles or words placed over them. Here's what you should keep an eye out for:
Premium Letter Squares
- Light blue squares marked with "DL" double the value of any letter tile placed upon them.
- Dark blue squares marked with "TL" triple the value of any letter tile placed upon them.
Premium Word Squares
- Light pink squares marked with "DW" double the value of any complete words that have a letter over these squares.
- Dark pink squares marked with "TW" triple the value of any complete words that have a letter over these squares.
Words that cross over multiple Premium Letter or Premium Word squares have all of the bonuses from each square applied. The scoring is applied first by Premium Letter Squares, followed by Premium Word Squares.
