The Starfleet Academy: Remote Campus is a new building designed for high-level players that provides powerful combat and economic bonuses.
It is the primary source of Critical Mitigation against Academy Training Drones and offers additional benefits such as cost efficiencies, refinery bonuses, and defensive buffs.

How do I get Academy Engineering Credits?
You can earn them by:
1) Exchanging Trading Merits (obtained by defeating Academy Training Drones) for Academy Engineering Credits
2) Completing Duo Wave Defense
These credits are then exchanged in the Academy Refinery for Class Honors, Simulation Codes (Duo Wave Defense Starts), Sigma Parsteel, Sigma Tritanium, Sigma Dilithium and Rare Section 31 Transmitters (used for upgrading the expanded Facade building).

Through the Refinery, Commanders can acquire Sigma Resources, G6–G7 materials, Class Honors, Academy Field Passes, and Simulation Codes. Additional rewards include Rare Section 31 Transmitters for upgrading the Facade, as well as Academy Officers and Officer Laurels, a new universal officer promotion currency.
Key Steps for the Starfleet Academy Loop:
1. Collect Academy Field Passes from the Academy Refinery (free claim, every day), serving as the Warp Tokens that provide access to the Starfleet Academy Space
2. Travel to the base Starfleet Academy Space, starting with Itraneia (61)
3. Within the system, destroy Academy Training Drones to collect Training Merits
4. Within the Academy Refinery, exchange Training Merits for Engineering Credits
5. Within the Academy Refinery, exchange Engineering credits for Class Honors, Simulation Codes, Sigma Resources (Parsteel, Tritanium, Dilithium), or Rare Section 31 Transmitters
6. Use Class Honors to upgrade the Starfleet Academy: Remote Campus Building, increasing your effectiveness in the loop on top of gaining multiple other benefits and gifts
7. Use Simulation Codes to start Duo Wave Defense runs
8. Within Duo Wave Defense, partner up with up to 1 additional player, at 2 ships per player
9. Complete Duo Wave Defense Waves to collect additional Engineering Credits as well as exclusive Science Credits and Command Credits
10. Within the Academy Refinery, exchange Science Credits for G6-G7 Materials
11. Within the Academy Refinery, exchange Command Credits for Academy Officers and Officer Laurels
12. Repeat in pursuit of Academic Excellence!
