What is the Outpost Control Center?
The Outpost Control Center becomes available at Operations Level 51 and serves as the foundation for unlocking and managing Solo Outposts.
By constructing this building, players gain access to powerful buffs, enhanced ship capabilities, and new resource systems, including Material Fragments, which can be exchanged for valuable Refined Materials.
How is the Outpost Control Center upgraded?
The building is upgraded using special Outpost Control Cores:
Common Outpost Control Cores – Dropped from PvE chests when defeating Solo Outposts or can be purchased in the store.
Rare Outpost Control Cores – Earned from the Outpost Battle Pass or purchased in the store.
Outpost Control Schematics – Used only for initial construction (claimed from your Gifts at Ops 51).
After the initial build, the Outpost Control Center can be progressively upgraded with these Cores, improving its bonuses and functionality.
What are the main benefits of the Outpost Control Center?
Upgrading and maintaining the Outpost Control Center grants Commanders significant advantages, including:
Outpost Loot Increase: Boosts rewards gained from conquering and holding Outposts.
Weapon Damage Increase vs Outposts: Improves damage dealt against Outpost enemies.
HHP Increase: Increases Hull Health Points for Federation, Romulan, and Klingon ships.
Material Fragment Systems: Unlocks access to new production and storage systems for Material Fragments.
Outpost Fleet Size Expansion: Allows Commanders to deploy up to three ships for Outpost combat (the first two slots unlock immediately upon constructing the building and the third slot unlocks at building level 40).
What are Material Fragments and how do they work?
The Material Fragment Generator becomes available once the Outpost Control Center is built. It functions like other station generators:
Material Fragments accumulate over time, up to a storage cap.
Once full, players must collect them to continue generating more.
These Fragments can be exchanged for Refined Materials (Ore, Crystal, Gas) of various rarities.
