What are Solo Outposts?
Solo Outposts are powerful new PvE entities introduced for high-level players, they represent a unique gameplay mode distinct from Armadas or Hostiles, combining strategic combat, wave-based defense and valuable rewards.
How do I unlock and use Outposts?
Outposts become available after constructing the Outpost Control Center building, which unlocks at Operations Level 51 or higher.
Upon construction, you’ll unlock 2 Outpost ship slots, with a third slot at building level 40.
Outpost systems are marked on the galaxy map with a special Outpost icon.
How do Outpost battles work?
Attacking an Outpost requires Outpost Strike Directives, which can be obtained to start an attack for free every two days through an in-game gift.
Once you successfully conquer an Outpost:
You gain temporary control of it.
The opposing faction launches Retaliation Attackers every five minutes in wave-based assaults.
Survive as long as possible - the longer you hold the Outpost, the greater your rewards.
Outpost battles are designed as multi-hour, semi-idle survival challenges, where players must balance endurance, ship setup and strategy.
What are Retaliation Attackers?
Retaliation Attackers are a new type of enemy that defend Outposts.
They are not classified as Hostiles or Armadas, meaning standard PvE and Armada crews will be less effective. Commanders will need to adapt with new crew compositions and tactics suited to each faction’s mechanics.

What are the different types of Outposts?
Solo Outposts are divided into two enemy layers:
The Outpost itself that you need to conquer
The Retaliation Attackers defending it
All Solo Outposts share the Diverted Power ability, which ensures Critical Hit Damage against them cannot fall below a set minimum percentage. This makes every Outpost encounter a serious test of strength and strategy.

In G7 space, all three major Outpost factions (Cardassian, Node and Borg) appear together, creating the most challenging encounters yet.
- Outpost kills do not count towards the daily PVE hostile limit.
- After conquering an Outpost and when defending versus Retaliation Attackers, you can't be targeted by another player.
- Other players are not able to interfere with Retaliation Attackers attacking your Outpost.
- Outposts are primarily a passive activity that do not require continuous attention to.
- You are not able to replace the ships in the Outpost mid-run. You can remove it, but that decision is final. If you remove all the ships from an Outpost, the Outpost will reset, and you will need to conquer it again.
