What is the Alliance Starbase?
The Alliance Starbase is a special structure that provides your Alliance with unique buffs and access to the Starbase Research Tree. When deployed, it can harvest Plasma from Plasma Storms across the galaxy. Plasma collected this way is then spent by the Alliance to upgrade the Starbase’s capabilities.
How do we build the Alliance Starbase?
To construct an Alliance Starbase, your Alliance must collect Subspace Superconductors. Once obtained, an Admiral or Commodore can build the Starbase by selecting either an empty Plasma Storm or the Starbase card in the Alliance UI. Each Alliance may only have one Starbase.
Where do we get resources for the Alliance Starbase?
Most of the resources needed come from bundles in the Alliance Store. To purchase these, your Alliance must first earn Cardassian Loot or Superior Cardassian Loot, which are gained by destroying Cardassian Stations.
Where can we find Cardassian Stations?
Cardassian Stations are spread across systems of increasing level:
Level 27: Myyric
Level 30: Cardassia
Level 33: Draygo IV, Celtris, Valo, McAllister C-5
Level 36: Kora, Unefra, Andrita
Level 39: Trelka V, Borias Cluster, Manora
Level 42: Vetar, Lazon, Mora
Level 45: Vanden, Arawath
Level 50: Rudellia
How do we harvest Plasma?
To harvest Plasma, your Alliance must relocate the Starbase to a Plasma Storm. Plasma can only be collected if the proper Plasma Harvesters are built, such as Magnetic Plasma Harvesters for Magnetic Plasma. Harvesters collect Plasma at a fixed rate based on their level, and Commodores or Admirals must periodically transfer it into the Alliance Inventory. The total amount harvested is limited by the Plasma Processor, after which relocation is required.
Where can we find Plasma Storms?
Plasma Storms are located across various systems.
Collisional Plasma: Levels 16–23 (systems such as Bharani, Kaus Australis, Eisenhorn, Mada, Zadiaoo, Uikuv).
Magnetic Plasma: Levels 29–35 (systems such as Morska, Galorndon Core, Izanagi, Tau Ceti, Argentomea).
How do we relocate the Alliance Starbase?
The Starbase can be relocated to any available Plasma Storm. Only the Admiral or a Commodore can initiate relocation, and it requires spending Alliance Reserves from the Alliance Inventory.
What is Alliance Reputation?
Alliance Reputation measures an individual player’s connection to their Alliance. It can be earned by destroying Cardassian Stations or by purchasing Resistance Bounties, Maquis Bounties, or Alliance Altruism bundles from the Alliance Store. Reputation is required to unlock certain nodes in the Starbase Research Tree. If a player leaves the Alliance, all reputation is lost permanently, even if they return.
What benefits does the Alliance Starbase provide?
The Starbase provides two main benefits:
Modules – Each module provides either functionality or buffs. All members of the Alliance receive module buffs, regardless of their reputation.
Starbase Research Tree – Accessible only with a Starbase, it unlocks higher-level nodes as modules are upgraded. Research requires Assembly Medals from Alliance Store bundles. Completed research is permanent and stays with the player even if they leave the Alliance.
What is the Alliance Inventory?
The Alliance Inventory is a shared resource pool used for actions such as Starbase upgrades, relocations, or repairs. Items stored here include Subspace Superconductors, Alliance Reserves, Speedups, and Refined Isogen. Resources in the Inventory remain with the Alliance, even if a contributing member leaves.
