If you are experiencing frequent crashes or major performance issues in Star Trek Fleet Command, reinstalling the game can sometimes help resolve the problem. However, this step should be considered a last resort after other troubleshooting options.
Important: Link Your Account First
Before reinstalling, make sure your game is connected to your Scopely Account to avoid losing progress.
To check this:
- Open your player profile 
- Go to Settings 
- Open the General tab and ensure your Scopely Account is linked 
Reinstalling on Android
- Exit the game and open your device’s Settings 
- Tap on Apps and locate the game 
- Select Uninstall 
- Restart your device 
- Open the Play Store, reinstall the game, and launch it 
- Log in to your Scopely Account from in-game settings to restore your progress 
Note: If the game appears disconnected from Google Play, you will need to “Connect via Google”
- Open the game. 
- Tap on “Connect via Google.” 
- Select the correct Google account you want to link. 
- Confirm, and your game should reconnect. 
Reinstalling on iOS
- Exit the game to return to the home screen 
- Find the game icon, then tap and hold until it starts to jiggle 
- Tap the X on the corner of the icon and confirm deletion 
- Go to the App Store, download the game again, and launch it 
- Log in to your Scopely Account to recover your progress
