What is the Amalgam and who can build it?
The Amalgam is available to players level 31 and above. It has a unique ability to fill its cargo and then exceed it in PvP, making it the perfect ship for raiding large quantities from enemy stations.

How does the Amalgam work in PvE?
When defeating Supply Depots in Klingon and Romulan systems, the Amalgam loots Plundered Cargo. This can be refined in the Amalgam Refinery to gain exclusive Faction reputation Exocomps, Amalgam parts, and Amalgam Gacha tokens. These Gacha rewards contain Honorguard Worf shards, additional Faction reputation Exocomps, and can also unlock Refits and Projectiles.

How does the Amalgam work in PvP?
If the enemy has more cargo than your hold capacity, the Amalgam fills its Cargo and then takes an additional percentage of the remaining loot. This mechanic will not activate if your Cargo is already full before the attack.
