What are Officer Presets?
Officer Presets allow Commanders to save and quickly apply officer loadouts to their ships. This feature enables easy switching between different crews for various activities, such as PvP, hostile hunting, or mining, without requiring manual reassignment of officers each time.
How do I use Officer Presets?
Access Presets: Select a ship, tap “Manage,” then “Assign Officers.” Tap the icon next to the “i” (information) button to open the preset menu.
Save a Crew: Assign your desired officers to the bridge and below deck slots, tap “Save,” and choose an available slot. You can also name your preset for easier identification.
Apply a Crew: Select a saved preset from the list and tap “Apply” to automatically load that officer configuration onto the ship.
How do Fleet Presets work?
Fleet Presets let you save entire fleet configurations, including ships and officers, for fast swapping between setups.
Access: Open Ship Management → Fleet Presets tab.
Assign Ships and Officers: Configure your fleet, then save it to a preset slot.
Swap Easily: Rename presets for easy identification and update them anytime.
Ships and officers must be docked to swap presets.
Forbidden and Chaos Tech remain attached and won’t be unassigned when switching fleets.
How do I unlock Preset Slots?
Unlock your first preset slot through the Syndicate Tree.
Additional slots unlock as you increase your Syndicate level, allowing more saved setups for different strategies.
Why use Presets?
Presets are perfect for players who frequently switch between different gameplay activities. They save time, prevent setup errors, and help you stay battle-ready for any mission or event.
Important things to know:
A Captain must be assigned to save a preset, but lower deck officers are optional.
The “Apply” button will override your currently assigned crew.
If an officer is already assigned to another ship or Away Team, a warning will appear before applying the preset.
You can organize presets by naming them (e.g., “Hostile Hunt,” “PvP,” “Mining”) for quick identification.
