What are Exocomps and how do they work?
Exocomps are time-limited consumable boosts that can be deployed across your fleet to temporarily enhance your in-game performance. They enhance your efficiency in key activities, such as mining, building, station management, and combat, enabling you to complete actions faster and more effectively. You can access it from the Galaxy view, located on the bottom right, next to the Peace shield icon.
How do I unlock Exocomps?
To unlock Exocomps, you must construct the Exocomp Factory, a new building available to all players at Operations Level 16 and above. This building is required to activate and manage your Exocomps.
What happens when I upgrade the Exocomp Factory?
Upgrading the Exocomp Factory unlocks four types of Exocomp Slots, each dedicated to a specific category:
Galaxy Slot: Enhances fleet-related actions like mining, protected cargo, or warp speed.
Station Slot: Improves station activities such as building and research efficiency.
Combat Slot: Provides battle-oriented bonuses like weapon damage or mitigation.
Wildcard Slot: Can hold any type of consumable for added flexibility.
Each slot can hold one active consumable at a time.
How do I manage consumables?
All consumables are stored in your inventory under the “Consumables” tab, where you can view details such as type, rarity, and duration.
Activate consumables directly from your inventory.
Each consumable has a limited duration, visible before and after activation.
When the timer expires, the consumable is automatically consumed.
You can only have a limited number of active slots based on your Factory level.
How do different Exocomp types behave?
Galaxy Consumables: Take effect when a ship leaves your station. If ships are already deployed, you must recall and redeploy them for the boost to apply.
Combat Consumables: Activate at the start of a battle but do not appear in your ship’s visible stats.
Station Consumables: Take effect immediately upon activation, but only apply to new builds or research started after activation—not to actions already in progress.
Can consumables stack?
Two identical consumables (e.g., two 2★ damage boosts) do not stack.
Two different consumables affecting the same stat (e.g., a 2★ damage and a 3★ damage boost) will stack.
Different stat types (e.g., 2★ damage and 2★ interceptor damage) always stack.
