What is Territory Capture?
Territory Capture is an Alliance-based feature centered around the Origin Sector, a region made up of zones. Each zone contains one or more systems.
Alliances compete for control of zones during scheduled Takeover windows. The Alliance with the highest score at the end of a Takeover gains ownership of that zone.
While your Alliance controls a zone, all Alliance members can benefit from the services, bonuses, and activities tied to that territory.
Access Requirements
To enter the Origin Sector, players must:
Be level 15 or higher.
Be in an Alliance.
Have a ship with at least 20 warp range.
Level 15+ players can access the Origin Sector, but each ship still needs enough warp range to travel there.
Key Mechanics
PvP combat: Level restrictions do not apply in the Origin Sector.
Deep space visibility: Origin Sector systems follow deep space visibility rules. You can only see into systems where you have a ship or station present.
Zones: A zone is a group of systems that share ownership, services, and an Embassy.
Adjacent zones: Zones are adjacent if they are connected by a direct warp path.
Zone slots: Alliances need zone slots to own or attempt to take over zones.
Alliance Territory: The collection of zones currently owned by your Alliance.
Embassy
Each zone has an Embassy, which acts as the main hub for that zone.
From the Embassy, players can view:
The systems included in the zone.
Current and upcoming services.
The Takeover schedule.
The Takeover leaderboard while a Takeover is active.
Zone ownership information.
Alliance members ranked Commodore or higher can use the Embassy to join Takeovers or abandon owned zones.
Joining a Takeover
Each zone has a scheduled Takeover once per week.
To participate:
A Commodore or higher must join the Takeover before the Alliance can score points.
The Alliance must have an available zone slot unless it already owns the zone.
If your Alliance does not own any territory, it can only join Takeovers in T1 zones.
If your Alliance owns territory, it can normally only join Takeovers in adjacent zones.
If your Alliance territory is not contiguous, you may only join a Takeover that reconnects your territory. If no such zone exists, your Alliance must abandon zones until the territory becomes contiguous again.
If your Alliance already owns the zone, it will automatically join that zone’s Takeover without paying the Takeover cost.
Takeover Scoring
Takeover points are calculated every minute after your Alliance has joined the Takeover.
Standard scoring:
Each ship present in the zone: 1 point per minute.
Occupying a capture node: 4 points per minute total.
Ships docked at home do not score Takeover points.
Capture nodes do not grant Takeover points outside scheduled Takeovers or before your Alliance has joined.
During the final third of a Takeover, Overdrive activates and all scoring is multiplied by 3.
If only one Alliance joins a Takeover, that Alliance wins the zone even if it scores 0 points.
New Takeover Scoring Methods
Some Territory Capture systems may now include additional scoring options:
Occupying a new Elite capture node: 10 points per minute total.
Quantum Tesseract Armadas: Worth +300 points per successful battle during an active Takeover.
Takeover Duration
Takeover duration depends on the zone tier.
Tier 1
Takeover Duration: 30 minutes
Overdrive Duration: 10 minutes
Tier 2
Takeover Duration: 45 minutes
Overdrive Duration: 15 minutes
Tier 3
Takeover Duration: 60 minutes
Overdrive Duration: 20 minutes
Tier 4
Takeover Duration: 60 minutes
Overdrive Duration: 20 minutes
Zone Slots
Zone slots show how many zones your Alliance can own or attempt to take over. Each Alliance has a maximum of up to 5 zone slots.
A zone slot is required for each owned zone or active Takeover attempt.
If your Alliance loses a Takeover, the zone slot is returned.
If your Alliance owns the zone, the zone slot remains occupied.
Commodore or higher members can abandon zones outside active Takeovers to free zone slots.
Alliances can gain more zone slots by increasing Alliance level.
Ownership Benefits
Owning a zone gives your Alliance access to territory benefits.
Exclusive Housing
Only members of the owning Alliance can relocate stations into owned Origin Sector zones.
Players who keep their stations in zones their Alliance does not own cannot activate peace shields there.
Exclusive Mining
Only members of the controlling Alliance can mine in owned Territory Capture systems.
Mining ships can still be attacked. Attackers can steal unprotected cargo, but they cannot dock on the mine afterward.
Services
The owning Alliance can activate services tied to its zones.
Services are activated by Alliance members ranked Commodore or higher.
Activating services costs Alliance resources.
Services provide time-limited benefits to all Alliance members.
Services may apply across the game unless the service description says otherwise.
Services with the same benefit may stack when stated in the service popup.
Activated services remain active until the end of the next Takeover.
Services are immediately turned off if the Alliance abandons the zone tied to that service.
Your Alliance territory must be contiguous to activate new services.
Available services rotate every full season. The Embassy shows both current services and upcoming services for that zone.
Territory Capture Updates
Territory Capture has been expanded with new activities, resources, services, and refinery improvements.

New service types, including Apex Barrier and Apex Shred-related services.
Blueprint service claim cooldowns reduced from 7 days to 3 days.
Some blueprint claims now include a 2x roll option at a higher cost.
Ship parts services added for all ships in the blueprint pool.
New Hostiles and Armadas
New Territory Capture hostiles include:
Quantum Adjudicators
Quantum Guardians
Quantum Tesseracts, which are Territory Capture Armadas
Some new hostiles can only be fought using Federation, Klingon, or Romulan ships, or the U.S.S. Vengeance. Other ships may be defeated immediately by the hostile’s ability.
New Territory Capture hostiles can be attacked by the Alliance that owns the system, or by players who are in an Alliance who joined an active Takeover in that system.
New Territory Capture Armadas can be attacked by anyone at any time to gather their loot, but they only contribute Takeover points during active Takeovers.
New Resources
Territory Capture now includes additional resources used for research, refinery claims, and progression.
New resources include:
1-star, 2-star, and 3-star raw Isogenite which can be refined into Refined Isogenite.
Quantum Prisms, mainly sourced from new hostiles.
Luminous Prisms, mainly sourced from mining.
Sector Prisms, mainly sourced from service claims and the Territory Capture Refinery.
Vanguard Prisms, mainly sourced from new armadas.
New Isogenite resources can be mined by eligible players using core survey ships, though mining becomes more efficient with deeper progression into the new building.

Territory Capture refinery access has been improved.
Updates include:
Territory Capture bundles have been moved from the Territory Capture Store into the Territory Capture Refinery.
Progenitor bundles now support slider-based bulk claims.
Dedicated refinery categories have been added for Meridian Territory Capture bundles, Progenitor claims, and Services.
Territory Capture bundles can now be viewed and claimed more easily from one location.
Alliance Resources
Alliance Resources are shared Alliance assets.
Alliance Resources are automatically added to your Alliance inventory when acquired.
They are used to join Takeovers and activate services.
Only Alliance members with the right permissions can spend them.
Alliance Resources stay with the Alliance even if the player who earned them leaves.
Continuum Consulate
The Continuum Consulate is a Territory Capture-focused building available from Operations 61 to 80.
It provides Territory Capture benefits such as:
Capture Node scoring bonuses during Takeovers.
Access to an exclusive daily refinery.
Base construction speed bonuses.
Apex Barrier bonuses in PvP during Takeovers.
Improved New Isogenite and New Geode mining.
Territory Research cost efficiency for New research.
The Continuum Consulate also provides access to the Takeover Schedule, allowing players to view zone ownership and upcoming Takeovers.
Abandoning a Zone
An Alliance can abandon a zone when it is not under Takeover.
Abandoning a zone immediately ends the benefits tied to that territory:
Active buffs and services from that zone end.
Mining rights are lost.
Stations in that zone lose peace shield capability if the Alliance no longer owns the zone.
Territory Capture Store
The Territory Capture Store can be accessed from:
Refinery > Territory
The store includes Territory Capture rewards and services. Some services must be activated by the Alliance Admiral or Commodores.
Seasonal Battle Pass: Territory Capture
Territory Capture operates in seasons, each with its own Battle Pass.
At the start of each season:
Territories reset.
New services become available.
Players can earn Battle Pass points through Territory Capture Trailblazer events by spending time in active Takeover territories.
What is Isogenite Mining?
Isogenite Mining is a new Territory progression activity that allows players to mine 1★, 2★, and 3★ Raw Isogenite, which is used throughout the new Territory progression systems.
What are Isogenite Geodes?
Isogenite Geodes are rare rewards that can appear while mining Isogenite. They can be refined into rewards such as Luminous Prisms, Continuum Consulate upgrade materials, Speedups, and Sigma Speedups.
What are Quantum Hostiles?
Quantum Hostiles are new Territory-focused enemies that reward Raw Isogenite, PvE Chests, and Quantum Scrap. Some are rare Quantum Guardians that provide enhanced rewards.
What are Quantum Tesseract Armadas?
Quantum Tesseract Armadas are new Territory-focused Armadas that contribute toward Territory progression and scoring while providing exclusive refinery rewards and additional progression resources.
Where can I claim Territory Capture rewards?
Many Territory Capture rewards and claims are now consolidated within the Territory Refinery, making it easier to access Territory-related progression systems and rewards from a single location.
Several of the new progression systems provide direct Takeover benefits. Territory Research and Continuum Consulate upgrades can increase Capture Node scoring, improve combat performance, and enhance survivability during Territory conflicts.
