Server Transfer allows new players (level 12 and below) to move their progress to a different server so they can play with friends or join their Alliances.
It is currently available on a limited number of servers to help new Commanders start together without restarting their progress.
Why can’t I see or join my friends in the game?
If you and your friends can’t find each other or join the same Alliance, you are likely on different servers. Each server is a separate game universe, so players on different servers cannot:
See each other’s stations or systems.
Chat or send messages in-game.
Join the same Alliance or armada.
To play together, you’ll need to use the Server Transfer option before level 12 and move to the same server as your friends.
How do I transfer to another server?
New players receive a ‘Novice Transfer Token’ in their Gifts section.
To transfer:
Tap your Profile Picture (top left).
Go to Settings → Universe Transfer.
Choose the desired server from the list.
Tap Transfer (if the button is green).
If a server is Unavailable (greyed out), it may be:
Full (reached maximum capacity)
Under maintenance
On cooldown
Note: You can only transfer once per account.
Will I lose any progress or resources?
No — you will keep your:
Level and station progression
Ships, officers, and resources
However:
You will lose your Alliance membership and progress toward Alliance events.
Chat and battle logs will reset.
Where will my station be located after the transfer?
You’ll be placed in a random system on your new server.
After the transfer, a Relocation Token will appear in your inventory, allowing you to move your station to a preferred location.
What happens to my Alliance?
If you are an Admiral, another member of your Alliance will automatically be promoted to Admiral when you transfer.
If you are an Alliance member, you will no longer be part of the Alliance, as Alliances remain on the original server where they were created.
You can rejoin or create a new Alliance on your new server.
What if I level up above 12 before using the token?
Server Transfer is only available up to level 12. Once you surpass level 12, you lose the ability to transfer — even if you still have the token.
Can I transfer multiple times?
No. Server Transfer can only be used once. The process is permanent and cannot be undone.
I transferred but want to go back. Can I reverse it?
No. Once completed, the transfer is final and irreversible, even by the Support team.
You will see multiple confirmation warnings before completing the process.
Why can’t I transfer to a specific server?
Some servers may appear as unavailable or greyed out because they are:
Under maintenance
In cooldown
Permanently full or closed for new players
I’m level 12 or below and don’t see my transfer token. What should I do?
Server Transfer is active on selected servers only.
If you meet the requirements but don’t see the token, contact Customer Support for clarification.
I’m above level 12 and want to play with my friends. What can I do?
Currently, Server Transfer is only available to players level 12 or below.
If you’ve surpassed this level, you cannot transfer to another server.
However, the team is exploring future options that would allow higher-level players to connect or collaborate across servers.
Can I still talk or play with my friends on other servers?
Unfortunately, no — gameplay is completely isolated per server.
You can stay in touch with your friends by:
Using social media or Discord for coordination.
Starting new accounts on the same server if you want to play together.
