Your station is divided into Interior and Exterior buildings. Interior buildings like Operations, Academy, R&D, Warehouses, Generators, and Vaults help you grow your station, improve your officers, unlock new technology, and manage resources. Exterior buildings focus on defense and fleet power: Defense Platforms protect your station from enemy attacks, while Drydocks house and repair your ships. Upgrading both areas is key to strengthening your station and expanding your fleet.
Station Interior
Operations is the command center of your station. Upgrading it raises your player level, unlocks new buildings, and increases your weapon damage bonus.
Academy is where your officers are housed when they’re not assigned to ships. By upgrading it, you can recruit more officers and improve their stats.
R&D Department gives you access to research. Many ships and buildings require specific research as a prerequisite, so this building is key to unlocking new technology.
Warehouses (Parsteel, Tritanium, and Dilithium) determine how much of each resource you can store. Once full, you can’t collect more from your generators, though resources gained from chests, missions, events, or the store can still exceed the limit.
Generators produce resources over time. Tap them to collect what they’ve generated and add it to your stockpile. Keep in mind that if your warehouse for a resource is full, you won’t be able to collect more from its generator.
Vaults protect a portion of your Parsteel, Tritanium, and Dilithium from being stolen during enemy attacks. Upgrading vaults increases the amount that remains safe.
Station Exterior
The Exterior is where you’ll find the buildings that defend your station and support your fleet.
Defense Platforms act as your station’s first line of defense during enemy attacks. They are located between the drydocks and they can be upgraded with resources to make them stronger, and any damage they take during combat will slowly repair itself over time.
Drydocks are where your ships are assigned when stationed at home. Each drydock can hold one ship, and building additional drydocks allows you to command more ships. Upgrading a drydock improves repair speed and lowers repair costs for the ship assigned to it.
