Here is a Glossary of the Key Gameplay Terms found in Star Trek: Fleet Command
 

COMBAT TERMS:

  • ACCURACY - Reduces Dodge, allowing for more damage to get through
  • ARMOR - Reduces Damage, opposed by Armor Pierce
  • ARMOR PIERCE - Reduces Armor, allowing for more damage to get through
  • BURN - Take 1% max HHP damage every round
  • DODGE - Reduces damage, opposed by Accuracy
  • DAMAGE - The value of damage dealt to a target. Damage can be Kinetic or Energy
  • DPR - The amount of damage dealt per combat round
  • HHP - Hull Hit Point; when reduced to 0, the ship is defeated
  • HULL BREACH - Reduces Armor by 25%
  • MORALE - Grants a 25% bonus to Armor Pierce, Accuracy, and Shield Pierce
  • SHIELDS - Reduces damage, opposed by Shield Pierce
  • SHIELD PIERCE - Reduces Shields, allowing for more damage to get through
  • SHP - Shield Hit Point; absorbs some incoming damage. When reduced to 0, all damage is dealt to HHP.

OFFICER TERMS

  • BRAVERY - Provides a bonus to your ship's Attack capabilities
  • CAPTAIN'S MANEUVER - Unique ability that activates when officer is seated in the Captain Seat of a ship
  • LOGIC - Provides a bonus to your ship's Defense capabilities
  • OFFICER ABILITY - Ability that activates when officer is seated on the bridge of a ship
  • VIGILANCE - Provides a bonus to your ship's SHP and HHP

SHIP TERMS

  • ATTACK - Summary of the offensive combat effectiveness of your Ship
  • CAPTAIN SEAT - The officer seated in this position activates his/her Captain's Maneuver
  • COMPONENT - Section of a ship that may be upgraded to increase the ship's effectiveness
  • DEFENSE - Summary of the defensive combat effectiveness of your Ship
  • HEALTH - Summary of the SHP and HHP of your Ship
  • TIER - Current rank of ship. Upgrade components to increase Tier score
