Experience ALL-NEW MOVES on NEW and existing Superstars! Pin down your opponents with new strategies and reach for the Gold as WWE Champions introduce three new move types!

COMBO MOVES

Combo Moves allow a single move to have Two effects that will trigger automatically one after the other!  When a Combo Move gets activated, the first effect triggers and resolves any cascades before initiating the second effect.  If the pin bar is pushed to the opponent's side, the pin will occur after the second effect is resolved.

  • The effect can be different for all superstars
  • They are compatible with the Faction Boss game mode
  • Dodge will work on both of the move effects together

HARDCORE MOVES

Hardcore Moves are a special kind of combo move that trigger an Extra Effect when a certain condition is met.  You can identify them with a golden border around the top of the move icon.  Hardcore moves are made up of two effects:

  1. The Normal Effect, listed first in the move description, will always occur when the move is triggered.
  2. The Hardcore Effect, second in the move description, will state the condition that must be met and the effect that will occur if the condition is met when the move is activated.

The hardcore effect will get triggered first and resolve any subsequent cascades, then or if the conditions were not met, the normal effect will activate and resolve further cascades.

  • The effect can be different for all superstars
  • They are compatible with the Faction Boss game mode
  • Dodge will work on both of the Move effects together!
  • Conditions can depend on:
    • The opponent's Superstar (e.g., Class)
    • Your own Superstar (e.g., Health threshold)
    • The gemboard (e.g., 5+ Multiply Gems on the board)

Here is an example from "Cowboy" Bob Orton:

REVERSAL MOVES

Reversal Moves are a special kind of move where one of the move effects is triggered by actions taken by your opponent during their turn.  You can identify them with a golden border around the top of the move icon.  Reversal moves are made up of two effects:

  1. The Normal Effect, listed first in the move description, will usually be triggered when the move is activated by the player on their turn with the appropriate amount of MP charged.
  2. The Reversal Move Effect, second in the move description, is triggered Automatically during the opponent's turn if their Reversal condition is met.

No MP is required when a reversal condition is triggered and can be used again after the specified cooldown.  Only the reversal part of the move is activated when the condition is met.  The normal effect of the move requires the MP to be charged to use.

  • The effect can be different for all superstars
  • The Reversal part of a Move states a Condition, Effect, and Cooldown.
    • Reversal Condition is met when the Opponent creates a certain number of Color/Mod Gems or activates a particular Move Effect. (e.g., Gems created by Countdown, Juggernaut, and Trap Gems) – They will not work on Gems created by Submissions!
    • As mentioned, the Reversal Effect is activated automatically, like a Passive Move Effect. It ranges from dealing damage to standard Move Effects to ending the Opponent’s turn immediately, effectively stealing their turn.
    • Reversal Cooldown: After a Reversal has been automatically triggered, it will remain on cooldown for a set number of turns, during which it cannot be activated.
  • Dodge has no effect on Reversal Moves.
  • Does not work in Faction Boss Mode.
  • Reversals do not work while you are stunned.
