We have noticed recently the appearance of scam accounts in the game. These accounts are set up by people solely with the intention of tricking players into providing their bank details, personal information, or requesting that they send money, iTunes cards, gift cards or other forms of monetary equivalence.

The Wheel Team takes these scams extremely seriously and is taking every measure to ensure that these accounts are banned as soon as we are made aware of them.

Player safety is of paramount importance to us, and we are working hard to ensure that these accounts are closed, however we don't have any way to prevent them from being created. As with all mobile games, you need very little to create an account and there is no way to screen them.

We ask that you please continue to assist us in making sure these scam accounts are closed as quickly as possible by reporting them to us immediately should you be contacted by one. We thank you.

Here's how to identify potential scam messages:

- Someone saying that you have won a cash or prize giveaway
- Someone claiming to be Pat Sajak or Vanna White
- You are asked to share any personal information or bank details
- You are asked to email any personal or bank details in order to claim a prize
- Someone who claims to be in the military and needs your help to get them back from overseas
- Someone who very quickly begins to ask personal questions about:
- Where you live
- If you are married and attempts to pursue you in a romantic way / give intimate details about their life
- Anyone who asks you very quickly to take your conversation off Wheel Of Fortune chat and on to another platform
